The Festive Facts™ Origin Story

Festive Facts™ started with a simple idea: I wanted a trivia game for my Halloween party. When I searched, I couldn’t find anything that fit the mood—so I decided to create my own deck. What began as a fun project for one night quickly grew into something bigger. I realized that if I wanted a Halloween trivia game, others probably did too. Instead of keeping it just for my party, I decided to share it. As I built the first deck, I thought about my own family and how we often switch between English and Spanish at gatherings. I wanted everyone—friends, family, guests—to feel included and able to join in. That’s when Festive Facts™ became bilingual by design. Now, what started as a single Halloween deck has grown into a full line of trivia card games that celebrate the holidays we love—Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s, and more to come. Each deck is carefully crafted to be festive, fun, and inclusive, so no one is left out of the game.
